The Law through Hebrew Eyes (what Paul was REALLY saying about the law in the book of Romans) The early Christians continued worshipping in the same synagogue with Jews that had accepted the Messiah, Jews that did not accept the Messiah, and Gentile Christians. Early Christians were well acquainted with Hebraic customs, idioms, and teaching. But after 70 A.D. when Rome invaded Jerusalem and all the Christians fled, the separation of non-Messianic Jews and Gentile Christians began. When Constantine, the Roman ruler came into power, he forced pagans into the church. The church renamed their pagan feasts with Christian names. Gentile Christianity became divorced from the knowledge of their Hebrew roots resulting in teachings that are not what Jesus and Paul preached. This book carefully outlines what Paul was really saying, when he dealt with two major errors: legalism and antinomianism (anti-law) and brings into balance the rich truths as Paul would have taught. The law is not seen as a rigid, harsh thing that had to be rejected but rather as a beautiful ketubah or marriage certificate that has been expanded in the New Covenant! This is a must read to understand Romans in its richness and fullness! About Dr. Edith Saller
On September of 2005, Edith Saller was awakened on the first day of Rosh Hashanah with the Hebrew song, kol dodi, Hine ze Ba (The voice of my beloved, Behold He Comes!) She feels her mission is to alert believers to the soon coming of Yeshua HaMashiach, Jesus Christ, their Bridegroom! She also feels that she is called to help the church become aware of the rich Hebrew roots of their faith!
Edith graduated from Concordia Teacher's College with bachelor's in education in 1968, from Shalom Bible College with a Masters' in Ministry in 1999 and a Doctorate in Theology in 2001.
From 2006 until 2011, Edith has been writing from over forty years of Bible study and personal revelation the Lord has given her especially on the concept of the bridegroom/bride and the wonderful marital blood covenant or "scarlet thread of redemption" that runs from Genesis to Revelation in the Bible.
In addition to teaching in public and private schools, Edith has had about 30-40 years of teaching with children preschool through high school, and adults from young adult to the elderly in various churches and organizations. She has taught nutrition education classes through Carroll County (Arkansas) Extension. She has spoken at numerous Passover, Pentecost, and Feast of Tabernacle Conferences through El Shaddai Ministries sponsored by Charlene Gates Phillips and her husband Jim Phillips. Currently, she occasionally teaches at Vanguard Ministry in Harrison, Arkansas, a prophetic/apostolic ministry.
Edith was saved, and filled with the spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues in 1975. She has been involved in praise and worship ministry, worshipping with flags, shofar, choir, and intercession. In 1991 she was introduced to Hebrew roots through the End Time Handmaidens Ministry directed by Gwen Shaw and a greater dimension of the Holy Spirit. In 1993, 2008, and 2011 she and her sister Eileen went to Israel. Since then she has had a love for Israel and the Hebrew language. In 2006 she completed an intermediate Hebrew course taught by Ed Bolger of the College of the Ozarks. She has taught several classes on beginning Hebrew. Since August 2011, she has been involved with Nita Johnson's World for Jesus intercessory/prophetic ministry and has gone to Seattle, New Orleans, and Washington D.C. for intercession for America. Like Israel, America started out as a covenant nation unto God.
Wayne and Edith have been married since 1969 and live in Berryville, Arkansas. Wayne and Edith were elementary teachers in the early part of their marriage. In 1991, they moved to Arkansas and operated a chicken farm for five years. They have three children. Nathan resides in Milford, New Hampshire with his wife Cathy and three children, Caleb, Rebekah, and Elisabeth. Nathan is the Director of Marketing for a credit union. Jeremy is a resident orthopedic doctor in Lubbock, Texas who will be specializing working with children. He will be getting married this summer to Brittany Bjoraker. Rachel and her husband Daren reside in Springfield, Missouri where Rachel is human resource director and Daren is a computer programmer.
